Bio
This electro-house duo stormed on the scene in late 2007 with a barrage of top charting white label remixes and releases through AV8 Records. The duo was quickly featured on record pools such as DJ City, Starfleet Music, and New York Record Pool and within months had built a strong following of DJs who supported their work.

While attending school at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, the young producers began a start-up licensing & production company, Arkatone Music, with Los Angeles based composer Will Forbes. While licensing works to companies such as ESPN, MTV, A&E, and Comcast, Danny “Danger” Boselovic and Nick “Piklz” Ditri, started their remix work under the moniker “The Disco Fries”

Since landing their first commisioned remix in 2009 with Flo Rida’s “Sugar”, the two have been asked to add their signature sound to remixes of Usher, Estelle, Selena Gomez, Nelly Furtado, Ida Corr, and many others. Meanwhile, the duo continues to collaborate with 2 time Grammy Award winner Fatman Scoop and, in the months to come, have releases planned with DJ Class (of I’m The Ish), Honorebel, and Jeremy Carr (of Deep At Night).

In the fall of 2009, the Disco Fries brought their live act to the clubs, performing across the globe in Hong Kong. Following their international debut, they have appeared in clubs up and down the East Coast, as well as, returned to Hong Kong & China for additional performances.

In June 2010, the Disco Fries received widespread exposure when they produced a single for Mike ’The Situation’ Sorrentino (of MTV’s The Jersey Shore). The track has since been featured on TMZ, E!, CNN, and Perez Hilton’s Blog. Since than, the Disco Fries duo has recently completed the official mix for Far East Movements smash hit "Like a G6" as well as Hyper-Crush's , Diplo produced track, "Ayo". With a foray of music on the horizon, there is no sign of letting up for this duo.

THE DISCO FRIES & CLINTON SPARKS PREMIER “KILLER” MUSIC VIDEO
Central Station/Ministry of Sound Release

The Triple Threat DJ Collaboration Bring Fans a Get Familiar Production of Carnival Oddities, Illusions and Pretty Girls

Los Angeles, CA, August 16, 2011 – What does a sword swallower, fire spitter and prosthetic leg all have in common? They are all part of the new music video for production duo, The Disco Fries new single, “Killer,” featuring Clinton Sparks have released at- (http://youtu.be/Mq2H7cPEfsA) Multi-platinum producer Clinton Sparks put the Get Familiar stamp of approval on this project from conceptualizing and writing the lyrics to taking a seat in the director’s chair for the video.

“ I really enjoyed working on this project with The Disco Fries,” said Sparks. “ They are super talented DJs/Producers with open minds and we killed this video just like we do in the club!”

The single, “Killer” was inspired by the idea of subliminal messaging that it is a DJ’s job to kill the club and get the crowds to musically escape – a job The Disco Fries nor Clinton Sparks take for granted when they are in the DJ booth. The trio decided against taking an expected approach with the video and instead created a visually stimulated story, packed with sideshow oddities and creepy people.

“We wanted to do a single and video that was outside of our comfort zone that also had elements you wouldn’t normally hear in one of our productions,” said The Disco Fries. “ Clinton was able to bring life to the melody, lyrics and visual for the song and we feel we definitely pushed the boundaries of what people expect us to deliver in a collaboration.”

The music video for The Disco Fries single “Killer,” featuring Clinton Sparks will debut today. For more information on The Disco Fries please visit www.discofriesmusic.com. For more information on Clinton Sparks please visit www.clintonsparks.com.
